Gina Cunningham creates digital and traditional artist she works mainly on acrylic paintings on canvas with mixed media, digital mixed media, and has started working more in ceramics. Her works evoke vivid hues and colors taking inspiration from her tropical Florida surroundings.
Gina has made art since she was very young. Instead of having a lemonade stand to make money as a child, she would arrange her drawings at the end of the driveway to display for sale for 5 to 10 cents. Local next door neighbors would drive by and some would buy a drawing or painting.
Currently, Gina teaches a painting class at a local community college and sells her artwork online and through commissions.
Her narrative surreal portraits in her artwork tell stories from her past and present. Her artwork helps her process through life emotions and feelings with artistic visual expression.
